Hullo Thursday!
1. What’s say we set the random mood with some random facts?
1. 😯 Everything I thought I knew about the world has been a lie…
2. I’m pretty sure that can land you on Death Row no matter where you live…
3. Well that just… awwwr. Gushing.
4. Contributing to that number as we speak [with a bowl of cereal.
5. It only makes sense, seeing as we’ve all got a quota to fill ^^.
2. I’ve started Christmas shopping, and I don’t mean for presents (which I usually put off until the last couple of weeks before the big day). No, no. I’ve been buying decorations, crafts, calendars, and anything else that inspires the festive spirit. I’m doing my best to hold off on decorating until the 1st of December, so all those things are just hanging out in bags… for now. I can’t look in the bags without my resolve threatening to crumble, so I’ll share the goodies with you some time in the future.
3. I will, however, share these little guys with you now…
Remember the raccoon critter ornament from my last TOL post? I’ve added to the family with this crazy adorable fox and squirrel. Yes to ALL the Christmas Critters. And I picked them up at Winners (TJMaxx-ish) in case anyone’s curious.
4. Another amazing find from Winners? These two bags of coffee heaven…
Chocolate Crème and Crème Brûlée coffee from Godiva. Holy.[insert word of choice]. There seriously are no words for how good these are. None. I try to limit myself to one cup of coffee a day, but daaaaaaaaang do these ever make that hard to do. Definitely took my morning cup of coffee to a whole new level.
5. … which is probably why I have yet to venture into a Starbucks and experience the magic that is the red holiday cup. It’s a well-known fact that things just taste better from those things, so you’d think I’d have been all over it by now. Not so. What can I say? My heart currently belongs to another (see point #4).
6. And it’s probably a good thing that I’m not dishin’ out extra dough at Bux because I’ve been doing enough damage at Sephora 😳
Welcome to the top the reality of my makeup addiction — I didn’t even know it existed, but apparently I reached it. In my defence, I was only taking advantage of the 20% off VIB sale when I got this baby, and some of that involved Christmas gifts for friends… And isn’t it always like the addict to try and justify their problem 😉
7. Guess what comes out on DVD in less than a month! Despicable Me 2! Is it sad that I’m considering pre-ordering it just so I can get a minion toy or lunch box? How old am I again?? Not old enough to not be ridiculously amused by this GIF…
[source]
8. And speaking of movies… guess what comes out in a month! The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug! I was about 10 years old when I read The Hobbit for the first time, and it’s been one of my favourite books ever since. Looking forward to seeing the rest of it on the big screen.

9. I don’t like stopping things on odd numbers (unless it’s 5), so I’m going to end today’s post on #9 just to spite my goofy brain.
10. Wait, no, I lied — one more. But this has nothing to do with the fact that I dislike odd numbers and everything to do with the fact that I just wanted to share this sunrise with you guys. Byoo.tee.ful.
Have yourselves a gorgeous Thursday, gorgeous people! 😀
. – . – . – .
Have you enjoyed the red holiday cups from Starbucks yet? What did you have?
Amazid Shop
I had the option to discover great data from your blog articles.

Age is just a number and nobody can deny minions are cute. Almost as cute as the adorable ball of cuteness Hatch is. I just got the app and I can’t get over how sweet my little Puff is when he giggles or when he jumps in the air with his short chubby legs *melts* You get the point. If it makes you happy, do it. Get that lunch box!
I’d have decorated already if I were planning to spend the holidays in Japan (and if I had critters like yours). No way in hell! But I almost finished the Christmas shopping and now I’m just counting the days to my flight. Weeee!!!
Meghan@CleanEatsFastFeets
1) I’m pretty sure I groat after all your eats.
2) Preorder the movie so I can see the lunchbox.
3) That sunrise is incredible.
4) I’m super excited for the second part of the Hobbit.
5) I’m also planning on watching the entire LOR’s trilogy again. Winter does that to me.
Kelsey @ Ramblings of Change
I’m excited about the semester being done in…FOUR WEEKS (+ finals week, but it doesn’t really count since I only have 2ish days I have to go in for about an hour!) I am SO EXCITED for this chapter to be done. My blog will FINALLY be getting the attention it deserves, as well as our apartment…its a sad, disorganized place right now!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
The ending of a school year is seriously one of the best feelings in the world… and it’s SO close for you 😀
Trudy
Hey, if it makes you feel any better, I’ve been at VIB Rouge for a few months… D;

Actually, #3 should read that the wedding ring goes on the left ring finger in most Western cultures because it was once BELIEVED that it was the only finger with a vein that connected to the heart. All fingers have veins that connect to the heart. Many European cultures wear the wedding ring on their right hand.
*pushes up nerd glasses*
On that note, I love that minion gif and you should totally pre-order. And the Hobbit? I may have a countdown on my work calendar for opening day. *pushes up nerd glasses again*
🙂
Laura@losingrace
Definitely excited about Despicable me 2 as well as the Hobbit, AND Hunger Games Catching Fire. Some good entertainment coming out!
Definitely had a few Starbucks red cups already- although I admitt I am not ready for it to be Christmas time yet. It’s crazy that Thanksgiving is already almost here for U.S and that Christmas is only a few weeks after (such a quick turnover this year since Thanksgiving is so late).
I usually don’t start decorating until after Thanksgiving but I might start a little earlier this year so I can keep things up a little longer!
Heather @ Kiss My Broccoli
I was JUST telling my friends at work this week how I’ve been itching for Christmas music lately! I haven’t put out the decorations just yet, but my neighbors took down their Halloween stuff on the first of the month and put up Christmas lights on the SAME day! 😯
Ahhhh, MINION!! I want a lunchbox! And I had no idea the new Hobbit movie was coming out soon! I’ve never read the book, but I loved the first movie!
1. Ugh, this makes my brain hurt!
2. Those Samoans know their stuff! And their cookies! Err, wait… 😉
3. VEIN! Omg, eye…won’t…stop…twitching!
4. “Contributing to that number as we speak [with a bowl of _______” <- How dare you leave us hanging!
5. Haha! Totally telling the man-friend about this one since I'm always doing that to him when we go out to eat!
Kate
Oh, the holiday decorations. I love them and am so ridiculously tempted already…but I also adore the delicious anticipation of November. I try to give this season the respect it deserves and keep my pumpkins and squash and fall goodies out until the day after Thanksgiving, and then all bets are off! Admittedly, we’ve put the Christmas tree up the first week of November twice in the past. But that’s only because my husband was going to be out of town and there was absolutely no way I was going to miss out on even a second of tree action during the holidays.

Oh, I have never tried mug cakes either! I’ve seen them pop up about a million times and said “wow, I really need to try that” but still haven’t taken the plunge. THIS makes me want to! Great recipe. 🙂
Also, this is the first time I’ve stumbled upon your Thinking Out Loud posts, love them. Total Friday Favorites Party material: http://housewifeglamour.com/healthy-eating/friday-favorites-11-week-of-1115/ Hope you have a great weekend!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
I put off making mug cakes for the longest time as well, but they’re seriously good!
Ashley @ Eat Run Live Happy
I love decorating for the holidays! I’m really excited for black Friday. My bf and I have a tradition where we go to the mall early and get starbucks. I look forward to it every year. I also love decorating the house but I also decorate the kitchen table on Christmas eve night when the kids are sleeping. I say I want them to wake up in a Christmas wonderland!
GiGi Eats Celebrities
OMG I AM SOOOOO EXCITED ABOUT THOSE Pincone like foxes up there – I AM OBSESSED, I MUST HAVE THEM! MUST. Tell me where where can I get me some!!!
And those tweets… I am still scratching my head and actually never thought about the ring finger before… But now it just makes tons of sense. I love those LIGHT BULD moments!
Gina @ Health, Love, and Chocolate
I haven’t gotten a red cup either! I honestly just prefer smaller coffee shops over the Bucks, and the last time I was there I brought my own reusable mug. Dork status.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
I love the idea of smaller coffee shops, but after trying out a whole bunch of them in the summer and being less than impressed with their fancy artisan brews, I’ve gone back to Bux because at least I know what to expect there (i.e. no coffee with a tomato soup aftertaste).
Chelsea @ Chelsea's Healthy Kitchen
I haven’t started decorating for the holidays yet because it still feels a bit too soon. I think I need to at least wait for the first snow. I can’t wait until my house is decorated though – it puts me in such a festive spirit!
OMG I need to get to Winners ASAP and find that coffee. Yummmm!
I’m super pumped for the next Hobbit movie too. And for the next GoT season (even though that seems soooo far off). In my more immediate future, I’m excited to go into Toronto to hang out with some friends and see one friend who I haven’t seen since June!
Arman @ thebigmansworld
Strawberries are NOT berries and bananas are? Ooh this is going to send the media and dieting world in a storm- especially all those programs who allow ‘berries’ but ban ‘bananas’ BOOM.
You’ve had the ability to WATCH and READ LOTR yet not Harry Potter? Fail. I use the LOTR movies to fall asleep … 😉
I am the worst at decorating- My christmas tree looks better naked than after I’ve added decoration. Fail.
Emily
So jealous of your Sephora status! That’s some serious makeup loving right there.
I ventured in to Sephora with my sister while she was here last weekend and we definitely did some damage. I just cannot resist Nars, Smashbox, and Benefit. I can’t.
PS: Do you have the Lorac Pro palette? I’ve been considering investing in it since I’ve heard such great things…I just don’t know if it’s worth it since I already have the Naked & Naked 2 palettes!
xoxo
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
I don’t. It looks gorgeous, but yeah… Naked and Naked 2 pretty much cover all my bases, and I already have so many shadows that there’s just no way I’m going to get through them all.
