Happy Sunday, friendly faces!! ?
And since I haven’t had a chance to chat with you guys yet this year… Happy New Year! Did you have an awesome time welcoming in 2016? Are you getting a better vibe from this year than you were from last year? Are you ready to rock the socks off the next 364 days?! (366 minus 2 — leap year!)
Call me crazy, but I’ve got a good feeling about this year — it already feels different from the last one. I wouldn’t say that 2015 was bad, but it definitely wasn’t my favourite as far as years go, and I was more than happy to say goodbye to it. Or maybe that’s just the endorphins talking since I’m currently hanging out in one of my most favouritest places ever…
Hello, gorgeous ?
I’m officially here to do some snowboarding, and unofficially here for my birthday (which is tomorrow!!). I almost always have the pleasure of having my birthday fall on the first day back to work/school after the holidays, so I figured I’d start the celebrating a few days early and drag the crew up to the mountains before it was time to get back to real life.
I hope you guys are having a fantastijazzical weekend so far, and I’ll see you tomorrow with some delicious food that you definitely don’t want to miss (check Instagram for a sneak peak)!
For my head…

I like the idea of bundled temptation and I’ve actually used it before to get on the elliptical in the basement. It does work for a period, although I think you need to keep switching those temptations to keep it relevant and interesting.
Yesterday I went grocery shopping, worked on my blog and went to a party at a friends house.
Today I’ve got a Skype date on the agenda, a trip to the mall (yuck but necessary) and a visit with another friend and her son.

I actually did it for a while with Gossip Girl and the treadmill. I told myself I wasn’t allowed to watch any new episodes unless I did it while I was walking/running. Worked like a charm. And then I ran out of episodes π

Happy Birthday! I hope 2016 is good for the both of us too. Too many bad things happened to me. Good to know I’m not the only one who feels that’s way about 2015.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Wishing you all the best for 2015, Megan. I’ve definitely had my fair share of those “wtf else can go wrong?!!?” years, but hopefully those bad experiences just made the good ones of 2016 that much sweeter.
