Life is full of difficult choices.
Cereal or cinnamon buns [for breakfast]?
Pink or red?
Chocolate or vanilla?
Smooth or chunky?
White socks or black socks?
Chocolate or gummy candy?
Sweet or savory?
Coffee or tea?
Gah! It’s enough to make this indecisive girl go a little crazy every now and then. Thankfully, there are things our there that ease my decision-making woes. One of those things is eenie-meenie-miney-mo, which has proven to be a lifesaver as far back as I can remember…
But another, more recent thing is this Coffee Pu’erh tea from David’s Tea.
Holy.wow. Can we say best of both worlds? Yes, yes we can.
I originally bought this tea waaaaaay back in the Fall, but it sat in my cupboards unopened until a few days ago because although I was intrigued, I was also a little put off by the idea of coffee and tea combined – it was either going to be genius or disastrous, and I just wasn’t ready to take that leap of faith.
Thankfully, it was pure genius and I now have a new favorite tea to add to my daily rotation. I like to drink this sucker with lunch when the slumpies start to hit but I’m not quite ready for my afternoon coffee fix. That and pu’erh is thought to aid in digestion, which is an added perk that I definitely enjoy.
I’d also enjoy another trip to Vegas, but unfortunately, work is calling. Happy Tuesday, friends!

I am the world’s WORST at decision making! Actually, whenever it comes to shopping, if it’s feasible, I will almost ALWAYS buy BOTH items instead of making myself choose! Haha! I know, I’m horrible!
As of right now, I’d go with coffee (but tomorrow I’d probably tell you tea!), neither (chocolate and gummy candies have never really been my thing…unless we’re talking Chimes ginger chews!), and right…because right is always RIGHT, right? π Lol
Brittany @ GOtheXtraMile
I am the most indecisive person…ever. That tea sounds AMAZING. I’d definitely be in heaven!
kaity @ kaityscooking
hahah i am the same way! sometimes I make some of what should be the easiest decisions, soooo difficult. What do I want for snack, an hour later I will finally come to a conclusion.
Hollie
I am terrible with making decisions as well. Wah this post gave me sensory overload! I saw coffee was a choice so I choose that LOL…for all that answers. π
Laura
Are you good with making decisions? Horrible. Just horrible.
Coffee or tea? Coffee. No question.
Chocolate or fruit candy? Chocolate. I actually really dislike fruity chewy candy. ESPECIALLY the sour kind!!
Left or right? Right…obviously. π
Sara @my less serious life
dude are your socks really like that! buy some new ones π
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Haha! Some of them are… especially when it’s getting closer and closer to laundry day and I’m left without any good clean socks π
Christina
I’m pretty definitive with my choices – and they don’t usually change!
Cereal, because having something super sweet in the morning gives me a headache.
If I had to choose… red – I don’t think I can pull off pink!
Hmm…. chocolate. CHUNKY! Always chunky. Black socks. Both. It’s cruel to make people decide between sweets and chocolate. Sweet. Always sweet. COFFEE {I hate tea. Unless it’s fruit tea.}
Katy
Are you good with making decisions?
Nooooo, I’m the worst! I hate when you ask someone where they wanna go for dinner, for example, and they just say, “wherever, I’m easy.” AAAHHHH that is the worst! I can never decide haha
Coffee or tea? Coffee if I’m desperate but usually tea!
Chocolate or fruit candy?
It depends what mood I’m in! Don’t make me choose right now! GOSH.
Left or right?
Always right. Except when it’s left.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
“Left or right? Always right. Except when itβs left.” <-- One of my all time favorite lines to pull out when I don't know the answer to something π Yes... except when it's not.
Ashley @ AlmostVegGirlie
I feel like I’m one of the few who actually prefer chunky to smooth when it comes to nut butters–I just love the added texture! But for most things, I have the hardest time making a decision. I just don’t wanna be disappointed! Like when I go out to eat at one of my favorite restaurants, I always try something new because I want to find a new fave meal but then I’m second-guessing my decision up until I finally order. And I’m just generally indecisive when it comes to most of my meals, so I end up going with a random mix of things most of the time, and that way I’m never unsatisfied!
Gina @ Health, Love, and Chocolate
I think that David needs to get his act together and bring his tea a little closer to me. Although if I remember correctly there may be one in San Francisco…? Hmm… Anyways Numi has a line of Pu’erh teas which I am in love (the chocolate it the best, no surprise there) but coffee sounds like a dream flavor.
Kate
aaah life’s tough moments!! I am so indecisive too – just this evening I was like “okay, I have leftover salmon, leftover chicken, beans, and tofu…which do I want for dinner?!!?” and I stood there in front of the fridge for a good ten minutes. ay caramba. That coffee-tea sounds AWESOME! I actually can’t drink coffee in the afternoon because the acidity bothers my stomach, but there are totally some days where I could use a caffeine boost…gah, wish we had David’s in the US! And I’m curious – did you go with the cinnamon bun or the usual for breakfast? π
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Straight black coffee bothers my stomach in the afternoons, but I find that as long as I’m drinking something with a milk base like a latte or cappuccino, then I don’t have to suffer any unpleasantness. And I went with the usual breakfast and had the cinnamon bun mid-morning π
Lauren
I’ve never had David’s Tea but I really, really want to try it because of this specific flavor. I think my life would be complete. Plus, it would probably help my caffeine consumption! I love your socks hahahah, I can’t tell you how many pairs of socks I have with holes and I never throw them away. I think I actually like them better. It gives them character.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Character yes, but sometimes I find it crazy uncomfortable when my toes stick through. As long as I can arrange them in a way that doesn’t involve any rogue toes, then we’re all good.
Sierra @ Posh Meets Pavement
Oh man…I hate it when I see a menu and I want every single thing. Eating with friends that share food is my favorite. Decisions are less pressure.
The sweet or savory breakfast decision happens EVERY DAY for me. Luckily, it’s the small things that trip me up and I am very confident and decisive with the stuff that matters.
Jessie
Coffee > Tea (but it has to be a flavored coffee, and either over ice or in the form of a frapp. I hate, HATE warm drinks.. even hot chocolate)
Chocolate = Fruit Candy… I refuse to pick, too close.
Sara @ Nourish and Flourish
Decision making is the bane of my existence! I am the WORST decision maker, and will typically waffle back and forth between my options, before either 1) buying/having both, or 2) walking away empty handed. When it comes to coffee and tea, however, I always go the coffee route in the morning, and the tea route in the afternoon. Unless we’re talking about decaf cappuccinos (only in the afternoons; morning coffee is always black), or caffeinated tea (only at night, if I’m planning on staying out late). Gah, I guess it’s more complicated than I originally thought! π
Chocolate candy always wins–always. However, choosing the *type* of chocolate candy is where the tricky decision lies.
Happy Tuesday, Amanda!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Haha! your tea/coffee routine sounds as complicated as mine. Black tea in the morning, black tea around lunch, coffee in the afternoon, herbal tea at night… unless I’m planning on staying up, then black tea at night as well. Whatever works, right? π
bianca
when its time to make a desicion between chocolate and candy, i choose the easy route…
Big Turk.
the best of both worlds.
i love winning haha!
Kate @ Quarter Century Southern Living
Chocolate π Always chocolate! Except in my frozen yogurt, which in that case, gummies, always gummies!!
