Happy Sunday, friendly faces! 🤓
How’s your weekend going? Mine’s been good but pretty quiet, with the most exciting thing probably being that I signed up for a little trial period at the Y to see if I might want to start going there. I’ve been going back and forth on the idea of joining a gym for a while now, but I just couldn’t get super psyched about it. Then a friend suggested a sports centre like the Y, and something just clicked. I haven’t “officially” gone in to exercise yet, but I’ll keep you updated on how things go with that.
In the meantime, it’s Sunday and that means it’s time to share a bunch of links I loved this past week. And a picture of Ky because she’s just too freaking cute. And fuzzy.

I love Ky. That is all.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
She would really love to meet you 😛
Laura
Oh, that cute face! Ky is adorable!
Thanks for the links. I always find interesting things to read when you do these posts.
Lauren @ The Bikini Experiment
Gym, blog, food shopping. Ky is adorable.
Rachel @ athleticavocado
Ky is such a cutie! Thanks so much for this link-up, have a great week 🙂
Hannah Elizabeth
Awww, Ky is SO adorable!! 🐶 The 30 things of people doing nice things article made me cry…so good and so needed especially lately! Makes me want to go out and do nice things to brighten someone else’s day. Yesterday, my whole family took an all day mall trip (it was a blast!!), then we came home, ate dinner on the couch and watched a movie. We’re all so beat today that we’re mostly lazing around on the couch, reading or watching YouTube movies. 😜 I did plan meals for the week though. 👍🏽
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
It really gave me the warm and fuzzies as well. So nice to see a little bit of goodness with all the recent violence.
Catherine @ A Cup of Catherine
Happy Sunday! I Currently go to the Y and love it because of the variety of classes.
Ky is so cute!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
That’s a big part of why I chose it at well! That and it has sentimental value since I used to go there when I was little 🙂
Beth
I was just wondering, is that your personal dog? Adorable! I want a dog so badly, but landlord says no. Looking to move. Yesterday: grocery shopping, tv watching, sleeping
Today: who knows.
Boring, I know.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Yep! She’s mine. I left her with my parents when I moved out because I didn’t want to coop her up in a condo when she had a big yard to play in, but I still try to see her as much as possible.
Ali @ Hit the Ground Running
Aw, Ky is ADORABLE!!! More pictures of her, please!
I’ve been bloated so much this summer. I think it has to do with the heat and how much water I’m drinking; I don’t want to drink less, so I’m just dealing with it haha.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Maybe just try to time your drinks differently? So that you’re not drinking around meal times?
Jess @ Keeping It Real Food
I look forward to your Sunday link posts all week. I fall so behind on all the stuff I want to read.
Yesterday, I worked at the hospital, cleaned my apartment, and got some writing done.
Today’s agenda: long morning walk, Pilates class, and going to visit the fam and spend time with some cousins I hardly ever see!
Ellen @ My Uncommon Everyday
I haven’t been using it this summer much (lots of running + at-home workouts), but I love our Y! Such a friendly, fun place 🙂
Yesterday: slept in (!!!), baked a lot, caught up with a friend
Today: massage (!!!) and who knows what else. We’ll see where the day takes me!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
The atmosphere is a big part of why I chose it too. Plus I used to go there all the time where I was little, so it has a lot of sentimental value 😀
Megan @ Skinny Fitalicious
Good luck with the Y! I teach swim there and while I don’t workout there, I think it’s a great place for people to get started!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
I mostly chose it for all the options. Lots of classes and sports 🙂
Michele @ paleorunningmomma
Thanks for linking! I just finished the last of that ice cream last night – sad! My “gym” is also the local y/community center and it’s good to have lots of options there – plus the whole family uses it. 3 things yesterday – recipe, shopping at craft store, cooked dinner? lol not much. Today will be busier!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
I had no idea you went to the Y! I love that it has a lot of options for sports. Mine has a tonne of classes too, which is another reason I chose it.
meredith @ cookie chrunicles
oh, I am excited you chose the y! i bet you will like it! 3 things yesterday – long run, cake tasting and major shopping in the mall 3 things today — today is mainly focused on finishing up my son’s packing for camp. oh and gong out for dinner.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
I used to go there all the time when I was little, so it has a lot of sentimental value 🙂
