Happy Sunday, friendly faces!
And happy [belated] Canada Day to my fellow Canadians 🇨🇦🎉, and [early] 4th of July to my American friends 🇺🇸🎉 I think that about covers it, eh? Unless someone had a birthday this weekend too, in which case… happy birthday! 🎁🎉 And I guess anniversary would fall in there too, so… happy anniversary!
Ok. Stopping now.
So, hi! It’s been a while since I took 2 days off from posting, but I figured the blogland would be pretty slow given the whole holiday weekend thing, so I took an extra day off to get caught up on a few other projects. I did almost put this up yesterday, though, since Friday was a day off for us Canadian folk making yesterday feel like Sunday.
But, nope. Today is Sunday, meaning it’s time to share some links I loved this week. Hope you guys find something good to read!

It twas smart that you took a couple days off, because it’s always good to just relax for a while. <3 Did you do anything for Canada Day? That post from Lindsay about self investment? Wow, that was just so appropo, and I think all of us need to hear that at times.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Lindsay’s so awesome, eh? And for Canada Day, I checked out some of the festivities downtown and watched some fireworks, but the weather was super dodgy. Saturday at the lake was our bigger celebration 😀

I love these link posts…They give me lots to read while I’m lounging around on break doing nothing!

11 things made for ladies…. WHAT the actual?! Is this for real?! haha no, just no. All about the coconut oil and am totally in love with oil pulling, using it as a hair conditioner, and I use it for psoriasis (works wonders!!!!). 3 things yesterday: coffee with friend, retail therapy, lifting. 3 things today: lifting, grocery shopping, take a nap
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
YES to oil pulling! I don’t do it everyday anymore, but still a few times a week and I’m loving the benefits. And it’s been pretty awesome for my eczema as well.

Yesterday: walked along the lake, napped, did a little shopping
Today: walked along the lake, went to a planetarium, and am going on a boat tour tonight!
Have a lovely day 🙂

Happy Canada Day Boo.
The 11 things made just for women…so funny. Those jeans with the built in thong, ha. Although I could totally use the pants extender. These days I use a rubber band to keep my jeans buttoned. 🙂
My mom bought Ave The Little Prince so we’ll be reading that in the nearish future.
I loved Lindsay’s self investment post.
GiselleR @ Diary of an ExSloth
Spent yesterday running back and forth to the freezer and my shoot setup trying to get pics of my melting ice cream cupcakes. Exhausting AF lol
I also plan to get some shopping done and maybe test a few recipes for next week.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend and happy belated Canada Day to you too 😀
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Omg this is why I haven’t yet tackled any frozen desserts. Unless I had a big bucket of ice to shoot them on, I’m pretty sure I’d stress myself out too much to get a good shot.

Really interesting how that article said to get the phone out of the bedroom for better sleep… maybe I should consider that! It seems tough tho haha. And yes to that post emphasizing quality over quantity for workouts!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
It’s definitely a little tough. I made my bedroom a no-computer zone, but the phone is harder to get rid of… mostly because I justify it by telling myself that I need to to check the time 😆
Liz
Im loving this lazy holiday weekend!! We managed to get some house projects done but also spend a fair amount of time relaxing. 🙂
I can’t wait to go check out that list of fitness apps! So many great things to read!

3 things yesterday included spending the day at the lake, going for a run, and lots of relaxing at home. Today I’m headed to church, going to yoga, and cleaning!
Happy holiday to you!
meredith @ cookie chrunicles
3 things yesterday, long run, day at my friend’s pool, ran a few errands…3 things today – picking up my race number for tomorrow, some shopping and hopefully a pedicure!
Michele @ PaleoRunningMomma
Yesterday – yoga, baked cookies to bring to my parents house and spent the day there for a barbecue. Today – running, swimming with kids, catching up on work. We’ll see how the work part goes, not feeling it this weekend!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
I hear that! My brain is in vacation mode too.
