Happy Sunday, friendly faces! And happy first day of November!
Did you have a happy Halloween? Did you remember to set your clocks back? Did you see my recipe for Flourless Candy Bar Brownies?!?
They’re a great way to use up leftover Halloween candy, and I’m willing to bet that you have a pretty decent amount of it lying around… I went over to a friend’s place to watch movies and help her hand out candy since I never get any trick-or-treaters around mine, but even with all the kids we got, there was still plenty of candy left over at the end of the night. Oh well, there are worse problems to have… like waking up before the crack of dawn!
I’m currently writing this on Saturday night, so while I can’t say for certain, I’m going to go ahead and assume that I’ll be waking up at 3-4am for the next few days thanks to the time change… But at least it’ll get brighter earlier?
Alright, friendly faces! Have yourselves an awesome day, and be sure to sneak a peak at some of these awesome links that I came across this week. I’ll see you tomorrow with some good food 😀

Now I want donut fritters. Those sound amazing.
I loved the storage tips. I knew a lot of them already but there were definitely a good handful which were very helpful.
Yesterday: I had coffee and biscuits with a girlfriend, lunch and shopping with another girlfriend, and watched TV with Oscar.
Today: work, work and probably more work.

Those brownies look delicious! I have way too much Halloween candy still lying around, I think I’ll give them a try! And also, YUCK! about the bed sheet article. Mine are currently being washed lol.

I can definitely relate to the daylight savings struggle. I was up at 4:20 this morning 😛 Refused to get out of bed until 5 on principle, but I’d still say it’ll be a long couple days. Hope you’ve had a good weekend!
Jenn
Thanks for the link love schnookums! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!!! <3

I really wish we didn’t have the time change either! Drives me crazy.

Good good links!
Per the bed sheet article, I remember in college I’d be doing well if I washed those things twice a semester. I always assumed that since I went to bed after showering, they were clean! Luckily I now have a husband who is better about that.
Yesterday I went to choir practice, made apple muffins (based off your spiced applesauce bread!), and watched Dark Places. Today I’m going to church, doing lots of homework, and grocery shopping.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
I used to be super lax about washing my sheets too. I change out my pillowcases pretty regularly, but I could still get better about my sheets.

Totes forgot it was daylight savings! I was wondering how I managed to wake up before my alarm haha
