You can probably tell from most of my recipes that I like to keep things pretty simple in the kitchen.
Minimal ingredients that are usually made up of simple pantry staples. Minimal hands-on time that usually involves a blender or food processor doing most of the work for me. And minimal prep and clean up, which usually means I can be in and out of the kitchen in under 20 minutes. Quick, easy, delicious and nutritious are my recipe requirements.
That’s why it’s probably no surprise that no-bake recipes are among some of my favourite [to make and eat]… especially no-bake energy bites. Not only are they super simple to make, but they taste amazing and they’re usually loaded with a lot of my favourite ingredients, like oats, nut butter, and dried fruit. That and they’re so customizable that you can never really get bored of them. Heck, check out some of these amazing combos that I came across!

What is boarding? Congrats on getting back into running! So am I!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
It’s snowboarding π
Lucie@FitSwissChick
It’s no surprise that my first answer is balls. π
And Almond Butter! Still can’t get friends with Peanuts. I absolutely LOVE all those no bake stuff…..only minus is, that I mostly eat all the dough before it is actually formed into balls. Too greedy.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
I hear that! I usually have to guess how many servings a recipe makes since I eat so much of the dough beforehand π
Jane
Awesome round up — all of these look amazing! Definitely will have to try out a few.

Love all these recipes Amanda, and I’m giving you a high five for keeping things simple in the kitchen! π
Brittany
Bites, balls, I love em all!!!
Laur
Oh my lanta, those cranberry pistachio bites just made me drool at the title! And the raw brownie pictures. GAH food photography = hunger.
I like my BALLS with peanut butter, chocolate, oats, and without protein powder. Specifically, I like my balls drizzled with chocolate. (TWSS π π π )
KAT
This is one delicious bite filled post! seriously no bake is a life saver for me in the summer, but also for those weeks when laziness kicks in π
Arman @ thebigmansworld
Still drooling over your bars after chucking in my MANLY vegan round up. Too bloody good.
Balls/bites/boooo…ts.
Alex @ True Femme
This is a great roundup! I’m definitely going to be relying on a lot of bites in grad school!
Ashley | Spoonful of Flavor
I love this round-up! Thank you so much for including my recipe. Pinned and can’t wait to try the others!
lindsay
well you are too good to me. <3

It’s because I heart you <3

Thanks for sharing these! I don’t discriminate with nut butters. I like them ALL! I tend to call them balls…It is just how I roll. Happy Monday friend! XOXO
Kezia @ Super Naturally Healthy
I always want to call them balls but it just feels too rude… π
And I am all about the grain free – mainly to appease my unhappy gut but thankfully life is still tasty:)
Molly

No bake energy bites… I don’t need to hear any more words! π
Megan @ Skinny Fitalicious
No bake is my game in the summer months when Phoenix is an oven & I can’t bear the thought of turning mine on to make it even hotter. I’ll have one of each of these please!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Yeah I couldn’t imagine baking in that kind of heat. Have you ever tried baking in a toaster oven? That’s what I do when it’s too hot out!
Amy @ Amy's Healthy Baking
I’m right there with you on the quick-and-easy recipes! The less time I have to spend cleaning up, the better. π Thanks for including my chocolate fig energy bites!
Cassie @ Almost Getting it Together
Oh man, those questions… I definitely have to say they are energy bites. Because I have the mind of a 12 year old if not.
Sarah @ SarahRuns26
I prefer peanut butter in most things (sorry!). In bites, I’d say chocolate over vanilla, definitely with oats. I don’t mind protein powder…as long as it doesn’t have the weird protein aftertaste. That’s what I can’t get over with many powders. I have found a few good ones that I like though! I generally say balls, but bites sounds better! π
Brittany @ Delights and Delectables
balls… grain free… almond butter.. .chocolate (always!)… with or without protein. YUM!
Sarah @ Making Thyme for Health
I feel energized just looking at all of these beauts! Seriously, they all look amazing!
And I have to agree, you really are great at keeping your recipes easy and nutritious which is something I struggle with at times. But those granola bars are definitely one of my easier recipes so thank you for including them! <3
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
I struggle with making mine more complex and fancy… we should meet in the middle π
Christine@ Apple of My Eye
First off, you da best for sharing my recipe <3. Much love to ya!!
Secondly. GIVE ME ALL OF THEM. I have been in such a funk with my snackage lately and have been opting for things like chips or spoonfuls of nutella instead of reaching for healthier options. This post has inspired me!
Sara @ Lake Shore Runner
On Sunday’s I like to make energy bites for the week. I work out first thing in the morning so I like to grab something as I am walking out the door. I always like to make a new recipe so this round-up is great. Thanks!!

AB over PB for me. I make it at home and it is the most delicious thing ever. I keep meaning to make bites (balls?) since they are so quick and you can customize them however you want, but I don’t know what stops me. Maybe I will start out with some of these π
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Oh girl you -need- to try them! Especially since you love dates! I can guarantee that you’ll be kicking yourself for not trying them sooner.
Tiff
Yummy! These energy bites sound great since I can’t have caffeine these days.
Hollie
I’ve actually seen a lot of energy bite recipes lately. Thanks for sharing and compiling all of these. As I head back into work I need quick and fast recipes to munch on throughout the day.
Meghan@CleanEatsFastFeets
Um so those Cranberry Pistachio bites look just about perfect to me. Bookmarking them for sure.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
This is where I say… if only I could eat pistachios π₯
Holly @ EatGreatBEGreat
Awesome round-up! I used to make energy bites all the time, but haven’t in quite a while. I really need to start making them again because they’re such a convenient and healthy snack to take to work.
meredith @ The Cookie ChRUNicles
Peanut butter over almond butter π And, the old me would say without protein powder but I am so in love with Skoop that I like to make every recipe possible with it!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
I still need to try that one…
Chelsea @ Raw N' Toned
That double chocolate one!!! It has me drooling! And definitely chocolate over vanilla! If I do vanilla, some form of chocolate must be in it π
Lisa @ Running Out Of Wine
I will definitely be pinning this to get ideas for my meal plan each week! I love having these kinds of snacks on hand to bring to work or have alongside a smoothie for breakfast.
Alyssa @ Renaissancerunnergirl
Love no-bake stuff! It makes it so easy to have a healthy and tasty snack π
Shashi at RunninSrilankan
Oh me gawsh!!! What an awesome lineup to start this week off with! I wish these were all lined up for me to actually taste test right now – in person! Oh well…a gal can dream…
I don’t think I could pick either AB or PB – I love ALL nutbutters – so far!
I gotta pick chocolate when it comes to cakes and bites – but vanilla when it comes to ice cream – and bites or balls – I have no clue – only the latter incites giggles in my home when I tell my daughter to eat her balls! π
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
π I can honestly say that’s something I’ve never had my mom say to me π And thank you for the image of having all these lined up to taste test. Ugh. WANT.
Alison @ Sweetly Petite
Energy bites are absolutely wonderful! I cannot wait to try some of these yummy varieties. I have my eye on the dark chocolate coconut almond butter ones!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Those look so amazing, eh? Seriously love the combo of flavours.
Jen @ Bagels to Broccoli
I love quick and easy recipes — especially of the snack bite variety that I can nosh on all day, erry day!
Michele @ paleorunningmomma
I’m finally getting the hang of “no bake bites” and I’m ready to post a recipe of my own that I’ve been making for a couple of weeks. They’re so perfect for my kids, husband and me for quick snacking or healthier desserts, so basically they’re just perfect! These all look amazing π
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Definitely looking forward to seeing your recipe! As long as it’s not peanut buttery π
Erin @ The Almond Eater
Love ALL of these–bites/balls are the best. Almond butter, chocolate, oats OR grain free, no protein ANDDDDD bites OR balls….balls is just funny but I think I use both for variety.
Shannon
Snack bites are my favorite!! They are most definitely always bites. Balls just is not as appealing.
