Happy Sunday, friendly faces! And hello, hello from the mountains! 😀
It’s hard to believe there’s so much snow higher up in the mountains when there’s not a trace of it near the base, but I’ll take it if it means I can do more snowboarding! That being said, I’m pretty sure this’ll be my last trip this season since most of the resorts are closing in a few weeks and soon there won’t be any more snow to go snowboarding on. Le boo. Now to suffer through summer 😉
I kid, I kid. I won’t start complaining about summer until late August when I’m tired of the heat and ready for a little change. But I’m tired and I’m rambling and it’s time for some Link Love. Hope you guys enjoy these great reads, and don’t forget to add your own favourite to the linkup at the end!

I grew up in Iowa and the snow is now gone from there for the season. However, living in the south, I am fully prepared to say I’m over the weather already in April….or maybe just the weather man. The other day he warned of a cold front coming…..it would only reach the low 70’sF for a few days. Ugh! Not looking forward to even warmer weather!
Brittany @ Delights and Delectables
Thanks for the love my friend!! You always have the BEST links!
Pip {Cherries & Chisme}
Hope you’re enjoying your last bit of the mountains!
Yesterday – tried out a new gluten free brunch spot, wandered round London with my family, went to see War Horse (AMAZING)
Today – watched the London marathon, a bit of studying and now an early night 🙂
Erin @ Erin's Inside Job
Yay thanks for the link! That reminds me I still need to go buy jeans haha. I hope you get to enjoy the snow some more before it warms up. I know I can’t wait for the warmth to get here so I can stop looking like a vampire!
Miss Polkadot
Don’t you dare wishing the warmer temperatures and sunshine away ;). I’m happy to kiss goodbye to gray days and having to layer out every time I set foot outside.
Three things I did yesterday: spend a lot of time on the train, visited a very good friend and sipped overpriced tea in a fancy hotel bar late at night [funny story].
Three things I did/will do today: slept in, enjoyed the sunshine and will drive to pick up my mum from the station in a minute.
Happy Sunday!
Alyssa @ Renaissancerunnergirl
I always look forward to your Sunday links especially for the blogging tips! I’ve gotten so much great information from them, thanks for sharing the knowledge 🙂
Christine@ Apple of My Eye

Melissa
Great links, as usual! Thank you for sharing!
Cassie @ Almost Getting it Together
I loved those ‘faster running tips’ from FitSugar – I’ve been doing track workouts and they’ve really been helping!
Yesterday: long run, went to Sonoma, dinner at The Progress, a new-ish restaurant in SF
Today: yoga, cleaning, getting back to real life 🙁
meredith @ The Cookie ChRUNicles
Um, so, yeah, we need to catch up major about my day yesterday 🙂 Three things for today- ten mile run, catching up on some work and going to the mall.
Cat
Ok that post on fitspiration images – whoah! ‘Puking is acceptable’ – UGH! Despicable.
But at least the link to Arman’s tiramisu pud cheered me up 😉
Meghan@CleanEatsFastFeets
There are so many good links today, I don’t even know where to begin.
Running: I ran farther yesterday than I have since the Tough Mudder, and I did negative splits; granted The Athletarian had to explain to me what those were. Distance first, speed next and fuel does make a huge difference.
Delight and Delectables post on exercise and how it affects our hormones was fantastic and one people really need to hear.
A lack of proper sleep is a big deal, and it’s also why I ensure I get my naps when necessary on the weekend. I took a forty five minute cat nap yesterday and felt fantastic as a result.
I would love to try those raspberry thumbprint cookies and the veggie burgers, although not at the exact same time of course.
Yesterday: cat nap, ran errands, went to a surprise party.
Today: yoga (hooray!!!!), brunch with the in-laws and blog stuff.
Chelsea @ Chelsea's Healthy Kitchen
Thanks for the link love girl!
Haha I’m glad you were joking about complaining about the summer – I’ve been waiting for warm weather since October lol! I’m so glad it’s finally (almost) here.
3 things I did yesterday: made French toast for breakfast, went on a walk with JZ, and had tea with a friend.
3 things I’m doing today: grocery shopping, hopefully another walk, and roasting a chicken
Megan @ Skinny Fitalicious
It’s raining cats and dogs here which means no mountains for me today unless it dries out quickly. Le boo…
Tamieka@fitballingrunningmom
Look at that beautiful mountain! I can admire the snow from a distance-so over the cold!
3 things I did yesterday:
-ran Ben’ss Run with the family
-went to kid’s bday party
-ate out with the family
3 things I’m doing today:
-playing football
-going to Costco
-going to get some new make up
Have fun!
Michele @ paleorunningmomma
We’ve had some cold weather the past few mornings again but I can’t complain since I know things will heat up really soon! By August I’m also always long done with the heat.
Arman @ thebigmansworld
I read that as ‘hung out with Jasper’ and I was like…WHO?!
thanks for the link love and IHYP. (work that out).
