Happy Sunday, friendly faces! And happy February, too! π
I hope you’re having an amazing weekend thus far. I’ve spent the majority of mine working, but that’s what happens when it’s the end of the month and you kept putting off your deadlines. Oops. But seeing as the weather turned nasty a few days ago, I didn’t mind being cooped up at home too much. Especially since it meant spending some extra time in the kitchen…
Ooo la la. Recipes.coming.soon π
And I just realized the Superbowl was today! Who’s watching the big game? I have to admit that I don’t even know who’s playing (Google just told me it’s New England and Seattle), but I might catch bits and pieces of it if my dad has it on when I’m over at my parents’ for dinner tonight. But whether you’re watching or not, I definitely recommend finding some time to check out these awesome links. They’re a little heavier on the food and life front this week, buuuuut sometimes that’s how things go. Happy Sunday!

Will you be watching the Superbowl today?
3 things you did yesterday; 3 things you’re doing today. Go!
Yesterday: ran a few errands, grabbed coffee with a friend, and worked, worked, worked.
Today: going to church, working some more, and heading to my parents’ for dinner.

So number 8 on the tree house list is every bit as amazing as it looks in the pictures. The tree house is located where I grew up, so I actually met the guy that built it. And fun fact: people have gotten married there. Inside the treehouse there is a small Chapel area with church pews.
Khushboo
Oh woah is that almond butter or a smoothie?? Whatever it is, I know we are in for a treat! Three things I did yesterday are lunch with mom, meet a friend for coffee, and spend way too many hours watching the tv show The Affair.
Daisy @ Fit Wanderlust Runner
I am a huge San Diego Chargers fan but this Super Bowl I cannot stand either team. I’ve been just enjoying all the food. π I went on a run this morning and it was pain free. I’ve been battling with my plantar fasciitis lately so running 6 miles without pain is a huge improvement.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
That’s awesome, Daisy! Congrats on your pain-free run — hope there’s many more of those in the future π
Christina @ The Beautiful Balance
Loved reading the business of blogging and branding! Watching the game on and off but the Bears aren’t in it so it’s not holding my attention for that long.
AJ @ NutriFitMama
I am not watching the Super Bowl today.
Yesterday- went to the Lego Store, out for Japanese, and spent time with family
Today- rearranged two rooms, cleaned, and about to meal prep π
Kim
Not gonna lie, I could care less about the big game… On a side note, those little chocolate muffins look amazing!!!
Chelsea @ Chelsea's Healthy Kitchen
I love that Buzzfeed round up – I am all about the bowls for breakfast! And kudos on being included! π
3 things I did yesterday: photographed a recipe, did a chest workout, went to my friend’s birthday in Toronto
3 things I’m doing today: eating, sitting on the couch, and NOT watching the Super Bowl haha.
Ella
My lord, those treehouses are all stunning!
Yesterday: cooked a 7 course French vegan feast, bought a KILLER CK dress + shoes for an event in NYC I’m headed to on Thursday, and found out one of my idols (editing/video GOALS) watches my YouTube videos. Pretty good day π
Today: buying a final completing piece for that outfit, starting to pack/brainstorm what I’ll be forgetting, and having a bit of a shopping spree at Sephora!
Excited to see all the recipes coming up!

“cooked a 7 course French vegan feast” <-- uhm.... so can I come live with you? Hope your Sephora trip was fab! I've been doing more and more damage there lately myself. Eep!
Laur
I’m pretty sure if I lived in the mirror house in Sweden, I would have bruises all over my body from running into walls. ;P And I just realized the picture of the END of the wall of China is, indeed, the only one I’ve ever seen!
Liv @ Healthy Liv
Sweet potato black bean burgers sound incredible! Heading over to check them out π And that article about protein requirements is great! I think a lot of us tend to overestimate how much we actually need.

I have photography lights… I need to do better with using them π

I can relate to the procrastination! I had my camera for at least a couple of years before I started playing around with manual mode!

As always, you have some great links, and while I would love to go fly a kite, today’s snow storm dictates otherwise.
Yesterday: day drinking, a nap and dinner with the in-laws.
Today: brunch with friends, some work, followed by going to a Super Bowl party, although between you and I, I’d rather spend the day in front of a fire than being social. π
Lauren @ The Bikini Experiment
Love all the great blogging links. The Pinch of Yum income reports are always reallly interesting to read. Thanks for all the info and have a great weekend! Three things yesterday were work, writing a blog post and working out. Today is church, some food prep and yes, the Super Bowl will be playing in the background so I am sort of watching. π
EVA
Not actually watching the Superbowl for once….THE PACKERS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE IN IT, DAMMIT! I want to watch and see the Seahawks get their asses kicked, but it’s too painful to think of what could have been! And that cooking hack link. Holy crap.
lindsay
this is so your month! a chocolate heaven.. no peanuts. LOL! love you and thanks for all you do.
Cassie
I am not watching the super bowl… does that make me terrible? I just don’t care about football. Also it’s on at 3:30 here so… no? lol.
Thanks for sharing my post this week, pretty lady!
Yesterday: discovered yet another coffee shop in the city WITHOUT wifi (#fail), ran some shakeout miles, ate some frozen yogurt
Today: half-marathon, probably getting some blog work done, hopefully brunch with friends??
meredith @ Cookie ChRUNicles
I stopped caring about the super bowl when I stopped being the one to throw the large parties lol. I am a hockey fan anyways…three things yesterday – long run, red mango, listening to you politely yell me at me for what I need to do (ha) three things today – recovery run (super short), errands, out with friends later.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
“I am a hockey fan anyways⦔ <-- you belong in Canada
Chelsea @ Raw N' Toned
Yes to watching the Superbowl today! I can not wait, my team is in it, and thankfully I get off an hour and a half before it’s on!
BROOKE@SWEETNSWEATY
Love the AirBnB link! Definitely watching the super bowl but mainly for the commercials! #sorrynotsorry
Sarah
Even though I am a native of Seattle and very much want the Seahawks to win, I probably will not be watching the game because that would be boring. I may tune in for a minute or two but, meh.
I saw this yesterday and immediately thought of you.
http://news.yahoo.com/possible-treatment-peanut-allergies-153000951–politics.html
perhaps a peanut butter sandwich is in your future! (Though I must say, peanut butter is good but almond butter is even better.) I had my first allergic episode last week. I have never had any known food allergies. But, last week, I took a trip to the ER after having a severe reaction to coconut oil. Guess there is a reason I never liked coconut!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
I’ve been hearing more and more about a possible peanut allergy “cure” lately — thanks for sharing that link, Sarah! And that’s -so- scary about your reaction π I’ve had that happen to me before as well, and once is more than enough…
Kim @ Hungry Healthy Girl
Thanks so much for including my cookies!! You’ve also included tons of great blogging links. I’m going to be taking a little time today to read through all of these . Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Kaila @healthyhelperblog!
Oooooh you’re such a tease with those recipe pics! LOL I am gonna guess triple chocolate muffins and homemade nutella? π
Michele @ paleorunningmomma
I didn’t know who was playing before you mentioned it so thanks for saving me the embarrassment π I was so uninterested I probably wouldn’t even have googled it! Recipes to come look great!
Tom @ Raise Your Garden
Amanda I need to get you into the game today. You sound like my wife. She only knows who’s playing because her husband is a psycho when it comes to sports. I am Physical Education teacher and coach after all.
Megan @ Skinny Fitalicious
Thanks for the link love lady! That post is important to me and it’s up to women like us to be role models for the change. Happy Sunday!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
It was a great post, girl! Happy [Monday] now π
Arman @ thebigmansworld
