Three things you did yesterday; three things youβre going to do today. Go:
Yesterday: met a friend for coffee, drove around with my parents to look at new homes, and went over to a friend’s place to watch the World Cup.
Today: church, lots of time in the kitchen for recipe experimentation, and Father’s Day BBQ.

Very slick, sneaking the egg and quinoa pie in there. I’m onto you Spoons.
Alright I opened a zillion links or perhaps 8, which I promise to read. In the meantime, I wanted to say Hi. Love the picture of you and your dad; it’s fabulous and all kinds of chin-tastic.
Cassie
I’ll do Sat/Sun since they are MUCH better than today π
Sat: wine country in Oregon, had an amazing sushi dinner, drank canned pinot noir (that was actually great)
Sun: run that ended with a stop for ice cream, lots of oysters and cheese for lunch, flew home (the worst)
Davida @ The Healthy Maven
Awwww such a cutie!!! Teach me how to like the world cup…not that I have time for that but stilllll
Arman @ thebigmansworld
Spoons we had the same hairdresser growing up. That, or they used the same bowl. π
Sarah @ Making Thyme for Health
You do have his chin! Aw, so cute! π
You always have a great list and thank you so much for including me!!
Megan @ The Skinny-Life
You look a lot like your Dad! I do too. Yesterday I got a sports massage and have bruises to prove it. I weight trained, spinned & swam. I went to the Y for instructor discovery hour. Today I walked 10 miles, booked a flight to WI to see my mom & recipe testing/food prepping.
Hollie
I hope you and your dad enjoyed the weekend! I loved all these posts, especially the one by Ollie. Such valid points!
Jan @ sprouts n squats
Aww such a cute photo of you and your dad! I hope you enjoyed your weekend.
Lots of great link love to help me catch up on my blog reading!
Miss Polkadot
Looking at new homes? Are you moving? Also, I spy a certain likeliness you’ve jumped on the Crossfit/ Bootcamp workout wagoon ;). I’m still too intimidated though I like workouts that kick my butt.
Happy Sunday to you and your dad – the picture’s adorable.
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Nope! No bandwagons for me just yet π I just know people like them so I thought they’re be good to share.
Happy Sunday to you too, girl! Or maybe Monday by now…
Mary Frances
Aww! You are so cute Amanda! Not much has changed π
As always, you have the BEST articles! I always find new things to read and learn – hope you are having a great weekend!
Yalanda @ Laugh Anyway
Awe! I love that you’re posed the same way you’ve posed in your welcome photo! It’s crazy to see how we are the same people when we’re little!
Khushboo
Cutest picture of you and your dad above! Three things I did today were bake a citrus oat bran loaf, get a head start on some work for the week and go for a Mad Hatters-themed high tea…perfect Sunday :D!
Bridget
These were some great links! So many of them were exactly what I needed to look at. I had a rough weekend with my recovery… My spirits are lifted and I’m feeling more motivated to be well. Thanks !
Yesterday: treated myself to Starbucks, went to the horse races with my family, got a baaaad sunburn.
Today: ran 5 miles, made a new buffalo dip, grilling kebabs for Father’s Day!
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
Those rough patches happen to us all in recovery. Chin up, girl π It gets better — promise.

Aww! I hope he’s having a great Father’s Day!

Great links to read through, thanks for sharing those Amanda. Especially for me the “How To Learn To Like Running” one. It’s often just good to read through something like that to remind yourself of the benefits of why you are doing something! Plus, I never thought of considering it before as “me” time. I definitely will be now! π
Katie @ Talk Less, Say More
Thank you SO much for including my post! I really am a huge believer that CrossFit doesn’t HAVE to be super scary and I’m so happy that I’ve found another way to stay active that I’m absolutely LOVING! π

Thanks for the link love! That pic of you and your Dad is adorable π
Becky @ Olives n Wine
Ooooh, how to learn to like running… I feel that the beginning of any run sucks, even if you’ve been running for a while. The first few miles are brutal but once you make it past the pain point, you realize it feels pretty darn good! Unless you’re running a marathon that is, and then I hear the last 6 are the worst π
meredith @ The Cookie ChRUNicles
I am always so honored when you share my links. Like really, thank you. It means a lot to me…Three things yesterday – long run, Red Mango and my son’s little league championship game (winners!)…Three things today – beach run, Father’s Day stuff and if I am lucky, some more Red Mango (my fave weekend lunch treat)
Elizabeth
Really enjoy your link love. Always like to take a few minutes to check out those great reads!! Thanks for sharing and hosting!!
Ella
I always love clicking through the links you find, Amanda! ALSO I just figured out how to add my link- success! π Happy Father’s Day!
Yesterday- Started studying for my finals (this Thurs and Friday… eeeep!), got a haircut, got Mexican for dinner for the first time in AGES (for the record, vegan soycurl fajita burritos are freakishly delicious)
Today-Filming and editing a new video to go up tomorrow, getting gifts for teachers for the end of the year, and (hopefully, if the weather cooperates!) firing up the grill for the first time this season- grilled tofu with pineapple salsa and coconut rice is what I’m hoping for!

Aww love the hair-do! Happy Fathers Day to Daddy-Spoon (Table Spoon!?)
Today is all about Daddy-Cat – so far I’ve made him a pretty impressive breakfast if I do say so myself, a bear-shaped cake and presented my gift: a craft beer brewery tour for 2. All things I can enjoy with him… typical π
Amanda @ .running with spoons.
A bear shaped cake!? Awwr! Sounds adorable. And nothing makes a better present than a father-daughter date π
Sam @ Better With Sprinkles
That picture of you and your dad is so, so adorable! Hope he has a fabulous Father’s Day!
Yesterday: saw The Fault In Our Stars, had a visit with Eric’s brother and sister-in-law, got sushi for dinner.
Today – cleaning, going over to my parent’s for dinner/Father’s Day, taking over their laundry room for a day.
Kim @ Hungry Healthy Girl
Absolutely love your intro picture… so sweet! Hope your daddy has a very happy Father’s Day! I’m glad that you mentioned your quinoa pie. I want to make that very soon.
